Tumblr führt doppelte “Important Blue Internet Checkmarks“ ein – für 7,99$, einmalig.

Im Zuge dessen habe ich mich nochmal etwas durch Tumblr geklickt und muss Marcel recht geben: Beeindruckend und angenehm weird (wie auch dieses Beispiel zeigt), was Automattic seit dem Kauf 2019 aus der Plattform gemacht hat. Alles wirkt/wird weiterentwickelt und die werbefreie Version hat mich ja schon Anfang des Jahres positiv gestimmt.

Jetzt noch ActivityPub-Support… Behalte ich mal weiter im Auge.

Update, 11.11.: Es wird immer besser – man kann Tumblr Checkmarks insgesamt 12 Mal kaufen und es so auf imposante 24 Häkchen bringen. Take that, Elon.

Update, 22.11.: Das ging schnell. Der Automattic-Chef hat wirklich ActivityPub-Support für Tumblr angekündigt.

Idee: Wirecutter für COVID-Impfungen, um Fragen wie “Ist Biontech besser als Moderna?” oder “Haben Early Adopter das Nachsehen, weil die später erscheinenden Impfstoffe von AstraZeneca & CureVac besser sind?” zu beantworten. Zur Monetarisierung dann Affiliate-Links zu Resellern.

Trotz Printkrise ist die Auswahl in den Kioskregalen so unüberschaubar wie eh und je. Wir haben 50 Magazine und Zeitungen zu einem Les-O-Maten zusammengestellt.

Nette Idee, umgesetzt vom Katapult Magazin: Ein Wahl-O-Mat inspiriertes Tool zur Ermittlung der eigenen Lesepräferenz. Bei mir war „The New Yorker“ die Nummer Eins.
