The Silo – Interactive 3D cutaway
Ich bin zwar noch nicht über die erste Staffel von »Silo« hinaus gekommen (was bedeutet, es gibt hier ein paar Spoiler für mich), aber auch so konnte ich diesem dreidimensionalen Silo-Querschnitt von Charly Delaroche (leider ein X-Profil)1 viel abgewinnen. Nicht zuletzt um mal einen Eindruck von den Größenverhältnissen zu bekommen. (via Birchtree)
- Wir haben diese Woche an einer Kunden-Website gearbeitet, auf der laut Vorgabe auf ein X-Profil verlinkt werden sollte, was uns aus offensichtlichen Gründen gestört hat. Auf Nachfrage wurde dieses entfernt und ich habe mich per E-Mail bedankt und das mit „F**k Elon!“ quittiert. Serious Business Stefan ist serious. ✅ [↩]

Update, 16.03.: Stephan Hackett von 512 Pixels hat den Little Finder Guy als 3D-Print veröffentlicht. Es bleibt fast zu hoffen, dass Apple das neue, liebgewonnene Maskottchen selbst nur minimal einstreut und es ansonsten ein Community-Ding bleibt.

John Likens, seines Zeichens Filmemacher, der u.a. für die Eröffnungssequenz im letzten »Deadpool & Wolverine« verantwortlich war („Bye Bye Bye“), hat nach deutlich kürzerem Test-Footage zu Leonardo und Donatello (beide von 2023) nun eine längere Kampfsequenz mit Raphael hochgeladen. Und die macht Lust auf mehr, wenn es mal wieder eine erwachsene, nicht von Michael Bay & Co. ins Lächerliche verunstaltete Version unserer Lieblingsschildkröten sein darf. 
Für 2028 ist ein bisher nicht weiter betitelter Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-Realfilm von »Fast & Furious«-Produzenten Neal H. Moritz angekündigt, der vermutlich nach »Mutant Mayhem 2«1 veröffentlicht werden soll, sich aber wohl eher an alle vier Quadranten richten soll, Paramounts Erfolg mit den Sonic-Filmen sei dank. 🙄

The RoboCop Statue arrives in Detroit
Sparked by a viral 2011 tweet comparing Detroit’s need for a RoboCop statue to Philadelphia’s Rocky statue, the project grew through massive community collaboration.
Detroit hat endlich seine RoboCop-Statue und „Daily Detroit“ hat einige Fotos und Videos der detailgetreuen, 3,5 Meter hohen und 2,5 Tonnen schweren Nachbildung des ikonischen Metall-Sheriffs der Stadt. Und wer sich nicht mehr an (nicht mehr verfügbare) virale Tweets oder Kickstarter-Kampagnen von vor anderthalb Jahrzehnten erinnern kann, dem hilft Wikipedia weiter:
The RoboCop statue is a bronze statue of RoboCop, a fictional cybernetically enhanced Detroit Police Department officer from the 1987 film RoboCop. The idea for the statue originated with a 2011 exchange between Detroit mayor Dave Bing and a pseudonymous user on Twitter. In response to the suggestion that Detroit have a statue of RoboCop to rival Philadelphia’s statue of Rocky, Bing replied that there were no plans to erect such a statue in the city. The exchange went viral and a subsequent Kickstarter campaign raised $67,436 to fund the construction of the statue.
