Dass der reichste Mann der Welt möchte eine Legion von super­intelligenten (weißen) Kindern erschaffen, die bloß nicht per Gehirn­volumen verringernder, natürlicher Geburt geboren werden sollen und anschließend in seinem Frauen- und Kinderdorf ohne sein Zutun aufgezogen werden sollen. Und wehe, Frau und Kind halten sich nicht an NDAs und Vertrags­werk, dann wird das Schweigegeld (15 Millionen zur Geburt und 100.000 Dollar pro Monat) mal eben zusammen­gekürzt.

Wäre das ein Bondbösewicht, fänden wir das zu absurd.

4. Soft, organic curves

Sound familiar? It should, because it’s also an apt description of… well, you know.

Build The Earth – Recreating the whole Earth in Minecraft

We want to create a complete 1:1 scale replicate of every building on Earth in the computer game Minecraft, a virtual copy of our whole world that showcases the diversity of culture and living space on our planet and stands as a testament for what we can achieve when we work together as a global humanity.

Bis auf eine einstündige Testsession und den Posts hier habe ich mich mit Minecraft nie wirklich auseinander gesetzt, aber das hier ist schon cool. Irgendwie.

Das „Build The Earth Germany“-Team ist übrigens vorne mit dabei unseren Planeten zu minecraftisieren™ und hat neben dem Kölner Dom oder dem Schweriner Schloss natürlich auch schon so bewahrenswerte Orte, wie die Therme Erding oder die Telekom-Zentrale nachgebaut.

Fehlen nur noch 99,9999997645% der Landfläche der Erde!

Now a decade has passed, let’s see who’s still doing it … And yes I’ve linked to your websites to prove this. Uh oh.
