Das ist keine gute Idee. \u00dcberhaupt spricht einiges dagegen, sich bei dem schwedischen Startup einen Account zuzulegen.</p></blockquote>\n<p>Netzpolitik.org mit einem treff&shy;siche&shy;ren Kom&shy;men&shy;tar von <a href=\"https://netzpolitik.org/author/markusr/\">Markus Reuter</a> zum neuen, europ\u00e4ischen Social Network &#8222;W Social&#8220;, das mit <a href=\"https://wsocial.news/\">wsocial.news</a> ganz klar unter der naheliegendsten TLD liegt, und \u00fcber das heute zum Start der Public Beta vielerorts, z.B. in der Tagesschau, berichtet wurde.</p>\n<p>Dabei ist das auf dem <a href=\"https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT_Protocol\">AT-Protokoll</a> basierende W Social bereits alles andere als unum&shy;stritten. In dem Kom&shy;men&shy;tar wird u.a. auf <a href=\"https://blog.elenarossini.com/w-social-public-institutions-and-the-theater-of-european-digital-sovereignty/\">diesen Artikel von Elena Rossini</a> ver&shy;wie&shy;sen, in dem sie einige Merkw\u00fcrdig&shy;keiten doku&shy;men&shy;tiert und Netz&shy;aktivis&shy;ten <a href=\"https://ar.al/\">Aral Balkan</a> zitiert, der ihr beipflichtet:</p>\n<blockquote><p>There have been so many red flags with W Social since its hastily cobbled-together announcement at Davos that they might as well make a red flag their logo.</p></blockquote>\n<p>Auf der Negativliste: </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ausweispflicht/Identit\u00e4tszwang.</li>\n<li>Quellcode neuerdings Closed Source.</li>\n<li>Fragw\u00fcrdige N\u00e4he zu EU-Institutionen.</li>\n<li>Trotz Freiheitsrhetorik privates, gewinnorientiertes Startup statt \u00f6ffentlicher/unternehmensfreie Struktur.</li>\n<li>Keine Blocklisten; auch Rechte wie Alice Weidel sollen willkommen sein.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ich w\u00fcrde dementsprechend sagen: <a href=\"https://joinmastodon.org/de/\">Mastodon</a> und <a href=\"https://eurosky.tech/\">Eurosky</a> sind auch ganz sch\u00f6n. Und zwar ohne, dass man das k\u00fcnftige Vergolden eines Privat&shy;unter&shy;nehmens einpreisen muss.
