# The European Social Stack — An open declaration

Eine Deklaration für offene, dezentrale Social-Plattformen und Messaging-Protokolle in, aus und für Europa. Heute vorgestellt auf der [PublicSpaces Conference](https://conference.publicspaces.net/) in Amsterdam und mitgetragen u.a. von [A New Social](https://www.anew.social/), [Eurosky](https://eurosky.tech/) und [Mastodon](https://joinmastodon.org/de/). Das neue, europäische Netzwerk [W Social](https://wsocial.news/), das wie Bluesky oder eben Eurosky ebenfalls auf dem AT-Protokoll aufsetzt, fehlt hier allerdings auffälligerweise.

Ansonsten richtig und wichtig. Während Demokratie, Meinungsfreiheit, Vernetztheit und Gemeinsamkeit überall auf der Welt ins Hintertreffen geraten, sollten wir das, was Europa und die EU auszeichnet, auch im Netz fördern und vorleben.
