# Galactic Compass 2

[Vor zweieinhalb Jahren](https://eay.cc/2024/a-compass-app-that-points-to-the-centre-of-the-galaxy/) hat [Matt Webb](https://interconnected.org/) seine „compass app that points to the centre of the galaxy“ veröffent­licht. Diese Woche wurde sie bei uns nochmal relevant, als meine Tochter und ich beim Zubett­gehen [ein Welt­raum­buch](https://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3788622229/eayznet-21) (Amazon-Partnerlink) lasen und sie mich gefragt hat, wo wir uns in der Milch­straße befinden. Ich zückte also die App, um ihr und mir die unendliche Weite wenigstens etwas zu veran­schau­lichen. Nun ist Version 2.0 von [Galactic Compass](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6451314440) erschienen, die nun auch eine Augmented-Reality-Verortung des Richtungs­pfeils im Raum ermöglicht, [wie Matt hier berichtet](https://interconnected.org/home/2026/08/21/galactic). Was heute von uns erneut für gut befunden wurde.
