Even if I only kept subscription users, the average Apollo user uses 344 requests per day, which would cost $2.50 per month, which is over double what the subscription currently costs, so I’d be in the red every month.

Offensichtlicher [Twitter-Move](https://eay.cc/tag/netzkultur/) um auch hier Third-Party-Clients zu killen. Für mich ist es bei Reddit und Apollo wie zuletzt [bei Twitter und Tweetbot](https://eay.cc/2023/twitterrific-end-of-an-era/): sobald mir der sehr viel bessere Third-Party-Client genommen wird, werde ich den Dienst nicht mehr oder nur noch in verschwindend geringen Dosen nutzen.

Es wird Zeit, das wir all diese Dienste mit Open-Source-Lösungen dezentralisieren. Sollen sie doch alle auf ihrem überteuerten API-Pricings sitzen bleiben.
