Okay, wie zu erwarten „one more thing“: Apple Vision Pro. Ein Name, den ich allerdings nicht erwartet habe, der aber direkt den hohen Pro-Preis anteasert: 3.499 US-Dollar, 500 mehr als ich gesch\u00e4tzt habe. „Available early next year in the U.S.“ \u2013 n\u00e4chstes Jahr war klar, US-only erstmal \u00fcberraschend.

Und was wir da gesehen haben wirkt zwar etwas \u00fcberambitioniert und Black-Mirror-esk, aber auch so als k\u00f6nnte das der VR-Moment sein, auf den wir alle gewartet haben. Die Front-Displays sind eigentlich Unfug, aber die Argumentation greift. Wom\u00f6glich haben wir da gerade den ersten Wurf davon gesehen, wie Computing in Zukunft aussehen wird. Nicht mit dieser Brillengr\u00f6\u00dfe, Kabel und Battery-Pack, aber was das „Spatial“-Interface angeht. Zwei, drei Generationen und hunderte visionOS-Apps weiter und Apple wird das „Pro“ f\u00fcr eine reine Consumer-Variante droppen, die dann irgendwann nur noch wie eine Sonnenbrille daherkommt, f\u00fcr ein Drittel des Preises. Und dann folgen irgendwann Kontaktlinsen.
