It\u2019s a significant acquisition for the e-commerce giant, and it means it will own a library of content that\u2019s reported to consist of around <a href=\"https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/dec/22/hollywood-giant-mgm-puts-itself-up-for-sale-at-5bn\">4,000 films and 17,000 hours of TV</a>.
