\"\"Heute Abend werden im Dolby Theatre in Hollywood zum 90. Mal die Academy Awards verliehen. Wie schon bei den letzten neunzig sieben Malen darf dazu nat\u00fcrlich nicht meine traditionsreiche Oscar-Prognose fehlen. Mit dem uns\u00e4glichen, aber 13-fach nominierten \u00bbThe Shape of Water\u00ab und dem f\u00fcr mich \u00fcberragenden \u00bbThree Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri\u00ab war die Qualit\u00e4ts\u00adspanne in diesem Jahr ungewohnt gro\u00df. Update, 8:30 Uhr: Buh! Der Gro\u00dfteil der Academy hat seine Screener offensichtlich nicht gesichtet und ist dem unverst\u00e4ndlichen Hype um \u00bbThe Shape of Water\u00ab erlegen, der als Gewinner des Abends gilt. Ansonsten sch\u00f6n, dass Jordan Peele f\u00fcr \u00bbGet Out\u00ab ausgezeichnet wurde, aber sehr schade f\u00fcr Martin McDonagh (\u00bbThree Billboards\u00ab). Neben meinen opinionated picks haben mich die Dokumentarfilme und der Original Song wieder einen besseren Platz gekostet, aber mit 15 von 24 richtigen Tipps war ich immerhin um einen Tipp besser als im letzten Jahr.

  1. Fragt mich nicht warum, aber aus irgendeinem Grund haben wir in unserem ersten Jahr nicht alle Kategorien getippt.
  2. Im Gegensatz zu fr\u00fcher schlage ich mir heutzutage nicht mehr die Nacht um die Ohren, sondern sehe mir ausgeschlafen am Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckstisch irgendeine Zusammenfassung auf YouTube an. Gelobt sei das Internet!
