Ich glaube, dass diesem Internet-origin\u00e4ren Format noch eine rosige Zukunft bevorsteht und \u00fcberlege schon l\u00e4nger, wie und wof\u00fcr ich es selbst mal einsetzen kann.</p>\n<p>Der von der Times als &#8222;King of the Video Essays&#8220; geadelte <a href=\"https://vimeo.com/kevinblee\">Kevin B. Lee</a> hat sich nun im Auftrag des Arthouse-Streaming-Anbieters <a href=\"https://www.fandor.com/\">Fandor</a> mal ganz grunds\u00e4tzlich mit Video-Essays besch\u00e4ftigt, welche Vor- und Nachteile das Format hat und wohin die Reise geht. Nat\u00fcrlich auch als Bewegtbildabhandlung:</p>\n<iframe width=\"520\" height=\"293\" src=\"https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/4kyFTIrm-x0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen></iframe><br/>(<a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kyFTIrm-x0\">YouTube Direktlink</a>)\n<p>Lee bezieht sich dabei ausschlie\u00dflich auf die filmbezogenen Essayisten wie <a href=\"https://vimeo.com/tonyzhou\">Tony Zhou</a>, wobei ich pers\u00f6nlich gerade die Video-Essays toll finde, die sich g\u00e4nzlich anderer Themen widmen, z.B. <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmTUW-owa2w\">umstrittenen Videospielentwicklern</a>.
