# Jack Daniel’s freundliche Abmahnung

[Patrick Wensink](http://www.patrickwensink.com/) hat sich bei der Covergestaltung für sein Buch „[Broken Piano for President](http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/1621050203/eayznet-21)“ _etwas_ vom Etikett und Branding von Jack Daniel’s inspirieren lassen. _Etwas zu viel_ fand Christy Susman, die Markenrechtsanwältin von Jack Daniel’s und ließ dem Autor dementsprechend eine Abmahnung zukommen. Doch wer hier jetzt mit deutschen Standards – also wilden Unterlassungserklärungen und aberwitzigen Summen – rechnet, liegt falsch: Denn offensichtlich erkennt man bei Jack Daniel’s wann etwas eine Huldigung ist und reagiert entsprechend: ![](https://eay.cc/uploads/2012/wensink.jpg)
