            "content_html": "<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"/uploads/2008/babylonad.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"margin: 0 0 0 7px; float: right;\" /><a href=\"http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364970/\">Babylon A.D.</a> ist wahrlich ein komisches St\u00fcck Film. 20th Century Fox, die Produktionsfirma hinter dem Film, l\u00e4sst Regisseur Mathieu Kassovitz nicht den kreativen Freiraum, den er f\u00fcr seine Arbeit ben\u00f6tigt und versucht stattdessen mit Babylon A.D. endlich auch einen Sommer-Blockbuster \u00c3\u00a1 la <a href=\"//eay.cc/2008/christopher-nolans-batman/\">Dark Knight</a> und <a href=\"//eay.cc/2008/i-am-iron-man/\">Iron Man</a> abzuliefern &#8211; also nur aus rein finanzieller Sicht. Kassovitz ist dementsprechend ver\u00e4rgert und macht seinem Unmut Luft, indem er bereits vor dem Kinostart verr\u00e4t, dass man von Babylon A.D. nur &#8222;pure violence and stupidity&#8220; erwarten kann, das ganze \u00fcberhaupt nicht seiner Vorstellung gerecht wird und stattdessen in Teilen eher an eine schlechte Folge von 24 erinnert (<a href=\"http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/08/25/babylon-ads-mathieu-kassovitz-opens-negatively-up-about-fox/\">siehe hier</a>). Solch harte T\u00f6ne h\u00f6rt man selten. Doch in Anbetracht dieser Umst\u00e4nde l\u00e4sst sich immerhin dar\u00fcber hinwegsehen, dass man hier in bester Boll-Manier einen Vin Diesel eingespannt hat&#8230;</p>\n<p>Herr Diesel spielt also den Auftragskiller Toorop, der in einer vom Krieg zerst\u00f6ren nahen Zukunft den Auftrag bekommt, eine junge Frau in die USA zu bringen, die letzte Bastion von Friede und Freiheit. Das Problem, dass Toorop ein gesuchter Terrorist in den USA ist, entpuppt sich schnell als nebens\u00e4chlich, denn das M\u00e4del hat irgendwelche Kr\u00e4fte, weshalb auch noch ein Haufen anderer Typen hinter ihr her sind.</p>\n<p>Ja, das liest sich lahm und ist&#8217;s im Endeffekt auch: Typ Killer bestreitet mit Frau (jung, blond) gef\u00e4hrlichen Abenteuertrip. Kennt man irgendwoher. Und auch wenn die Parallelen zu <a href=\"http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000NIMZZM/eayznet-21\">Children of Men</a> mehr als offensichtlich sind, kann Babylon A.D. nie an dessen Status heranreichen. Dabei gibt sich Babylon tats\u00e4chlich M\u00fche: der Endzeit-Stil des heruntergekommenen Ost-Europas \u00fcberzeugt (endlich mal weg von der <a href=\"//eay.cc/2008/der-film-der-alles-sein-wollte/\">Insel</a>), es gibt eine Handvoll wirklich cooler Gadgets und dazu noch einen sehenswerten Gastauftritt G\u00e9rard Depardieu. Alles wirklich toll, doch leider nicht genug: die Logik bleibt gr\u00f6\u00dfenteils auf der Strecke, Toorop, der gern ein bisschen mehr wie die Klapperschlange w\u00e4re, ist der profilloseste Endzeit-Checker seit langem und schlie\u00dflich kann man sich nicht zwischen Trash und Arthouse entscheiden. Kurzum: Babylon A.D. w\u00fcrde gern in der Bundesliga spielen, bleibt aber bem\u00fcht in der Kreisklasse stecken.
